Steve Yacovelli holds a B.S. in Public Relations from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He went on to earn an M.A. in Educational Policy and Leadership Development from The Ohio State University. In 2008, Yacovelli received his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University.

After completing his master's degree, Yacovelli began his career in 2002 by founding his own consulting firm called The Dog House. He focused on corporate training, communication, and change management services.

Business Consulting

As owner of The Dog House, Yacovelli has worked with major companies like Walt Disney, IBM, Bayer, and AT&T. He consults on strategies related to employee engagement, organizational communication, learning programs, and measuring impact.
