26 years of the Winter is a Drag Ball

BURLINGTON VT:  The one and only Amber LeMay, host of Amber Live! is proud to present a retrospective of Vermont’s own Winter is a Drag Ball, the massive annual charity event that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years. 

This year, the 26th annual Winter is a Drag Ball  will be a virtual event due to the pandemic.  To add to the fun, the week before the February 7th episode of Amber Live! will feature the Winter is a Drag Ball, including some of the key people who have made it happen throughout the years.

Amber, Margaurite, and Lucy Belle LeMay have attended or been a part of the Drag Ball since the beginning, and the House of LeMay now hosts the event every year.  Another amazing force behind the early drag balls is Rev. Yolanda, who will be on Amber Live! to talk about the history of this amazing event.  Yolanda’s co-host from her TV show Cherrie and Yolanda, Cherrie Tart, may even appear on Amber Live.  And finally, you should expect to hear from DJ Rob Douglas, as well as Chris Friday, formerly of Higher Ground, who will share all about the behind the scenes activity that happened throughout the years.
